Where are your metal signs made?
Every Rusty Rooster Metal sign is handcrafted in our shop in Sulphur, Oklahoma.
What kind of metal do you use?
Most signs are cut from durable 16-gauge American steel. Certain larger or heavy-duty products use 10-gauge steel or aluminum when the product listing specifically says so.
How are the signs finished?
Our steel signs are finished with durable powder coating. Available colors and specialty finishes vary by product, so check the color choices shown on the individual listing before ordering.
Can I personalize a sign?
Yes. Many designs can be personalized with a name, address, date, number, or short wording. Enter the text exactly as you want it made, including spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Character limits and available fields vary by design.
Will I receive a proof before production?
Standard personalized designs normally go directly into production because the design and text placement are already established. Fully custom artwork includes a digital proof for approval before we cut the metal, with up to three revision rounds.
How long does production take?
Most standard orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days. Fully custom artwork may take longer because artwork creation and proof approval must be completed before production.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on all orders shipped within the United States and U.S. territories. No minimum purchase is required. We currently do not ship internationally. Read our Shipping Policy for complete details.
How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery normally takes approximately 3–5 business days after the order ships. Carrier delays, weather, holidays, and other circumstances outside our control can affect delivery estimates.
Can I use my sign outdoors?
Powder coating provides a durable finish, but placement recommendations can vary by design and construction. Review the individual product description for the intended use and mounting guidance.
Does mounting hardware come with the sign?
Mounting methods vary by product, and mounting hardware is not included unless the product listing specifically says otherwise. Always choose hardware appropriate for the wall or surface where the sign will be installed.
Can personalized or custom products be returned?
Personalized, customized, and custom-made products are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, or Rusty Rooster Metal made a production error.
What is the return policy for non-personalized products?
Eligible non-personalized items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if they are unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and in their original condition. Approved non-defective returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, customer-paid return shipping, and applicable outbound shipping deductions. What should I do if my order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the product, shipping box, packaging, and shipping label. Keep the product and all packaging while we review the claim.
